Children will take part in a variety of activities including sports, art and craft, adventure games, cookery and more. They will follow a varied timetable which will change daily.
If you have any questions regarding bookings please e-mail thezone@bansteadprep.com in the first instance. The telephone number for daily occurrences, e.g. you are running late is 07462 300126
Please note that the camp closes at 4pm, for standard hours and 5.30pm for those with a booked late finish, there is a charge for late collection of £9 which is incurred every 15 minutes. Please refer to the terms and conditions on our website for further information on charges.
Children should wear clothing and footwear suitable for running around in. We can get messy so please don't send them in their best clothes.
A packed lunch should be brought with a snack and a large water bottle, we have plenty of places to top up wtaer. Please send extra snacks if they are attending the Chill Out Zone as they are often very hungry again by then! You are welcome to send in a dry breakfast if your child is starting early.
We have a tuck shop available offering snacks and drinks therefore children may bring a small amount of money to purchase something.
We try to get the children outside whatever the weather, so in winter a warm coat is needed.
Children should bring their swimming kit, including a hat and goggles for when we are swimming. All children may swim (even non-swimmers); they are supervised by a qualified swimming instructor and lifeguard. Swimming sessions are fun swims and not lessons. Children will be tested for swimming ability by the swimming coach and appropriate swimming aids will be provided if required. Please do encourage your child to swim, as they love it when they finally take the plunge and daily swimming can quickly aid their swimming ability!
Please ensure your child has socks in their bag as they will need them if we have an inflatable.
